Chasing Fairies – Arcade Preview! :)

Heya guys!

There are very, very few events I ever cared to apply as a blogger for. The Arcade is one of them and I just recently got accepted. When Umberto told me he’d add me, I jumped a little in rl. It’s weird, it’s only SL, but it does feel like a bit of an achievement since The Arcade is such a HUGE conglomeration of awesome, creative people on SL. I am really proud to be part of it now and I find it super amusing that now it is actually TRUE, after so many people spread the rumor I was secretly part of The Arcade already, which was nonsense. :) But I tell you, playing gachas lagfree is much more fun. :P

So, here is an outfit I put together with many amazing items from The Arcade, which will open on December 1st. :) The outfit is not really something I usually would wear in the role-plays I join, but I have been saying before I will every now and then dish out a modern post as well. :)

The fairies!

Omg, when I saw these I WANTED them. And they are not even rares! These cute fairies come in four flying versions and several attached versions (shoulder, head etc.) and are provided by DLab (Dazai Voom) at The Arcade. They are majorly cute, what can I say? They fly around you and their little wand is sprinkling fairie fire. :) They are obviously a rather nonsensical attachment but get mad props for major cutesy. :) Pretty amazing details, too!

The skin!

Nina Helix of Birdy got invited into The Arcade and looking at the quality she delivers, it is hardly a surprise and was only a matter of time. Her skin Blair costs 100 L per play and comes in several amazing make ups of which this one is a rare version called Kiss me and I am wearing the browless version with an added browlayer by The Shops (Diva, skintone 09). I am a huge sucker for the highlights Nina draws upon her skins which apparently are popular enough to be copied by many other designers by now. her lips are -awesome-. I am not so much a fan of the harshly drawn jawline, but after talking to her I can see -why- she does it and appreciate it from an artsy point of view. And honestly, it is a minor thing that hardly lets the sheer quality of her skins diminish. What I love especially is that all her face are truly unique. You can tell right away wether it’s an Eladie, a Snow, a Delilah etc. Other skindesigners provide much less of really unique skins.

The skates!

Maylee Oh of the Secret Store caught my attention quite a long time ago and ever since she improved like craaaazy. She is one of those designers that make you go O_O when you look at her items, grabby hands included. Her items are really well done, I like her textures and the effort she seems to put into them. original mesh, too! These skates are currently available…guess where…right: At The Arcade. They come in various colorations and patterns of which I am displaying the Mint Polka version, which is a common item. Not only that, but they come with a really nice AO for skating as well. :) I much enjoy the various patterns she offers and with 75L per play these are not expensive either (unless you play the machine endlessly, of course).
